Who operates LabelFit
LabelFit is developed and operated by David Voskanyan (“LabelFit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Information processed for an analysis
When you tap Analyze, LabelFit may process one to three package photos; your selected goal and ingredient terms to flag; random installation and request identifiers; the app version and security attestation token; and minimal technical request information needed for security, rate limiting, reliability, and fraud prevention.
Do not include people, payment cards, prescriptions, addresses, or other sensitive personal information in package photos.
How information is used
Information is used only to authenticate LabelFit, return the analysis or comparison you requested, prevent abuse, operate and secure the service, and comply with applicable law. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Local data
Analyses, comparisons, preferences, and favorites are stored in LabelFit's private storage on your device. Package photos are saved locally only if you enable that option. Delete individual items from History or erase all local data in Settings.
Server and provider retention
LabelFit's application server does not persist package photos, extracted label content, goals, avoid terms, or analysis results. Minimal operational logs exclude photo bytes, prompt text, extracted ingredients, nutrition values, and AI responses.
Google Gemini API reads submitted label photos and request text. We use a paid API project. Google states that paid prompts and responses are not used to improve its products, but it may log them for a limited period solely for safety, abuse monitoring, and required legal disclosures.
Firebase App Check with Apple App Attest on iOS and Play Integrity on Android verifies authentic app requests. Attestation material is processed for validation. Firebase states that limited-use App Check tokens used for replay protection may be stored for up to 30 days.
Cloud hosting and network providers process request metadata to deliver and protect the service. Information may be processed where these providers operate under applicable contractual and legal protections.
Retention and deletion
Local content remains until you delete it or remove the app. LabelFit has no server-side account or analysis history. Operational security logs are retained only as reasonably needed for service integrity, incident response, and legal obligations. Provider retention follows the practices described above.
Age requirement
LabelFit is intended only for people aged 18 or older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Food, allergy, and medical information
LabelFit provides general informational assistance. It is not medical or dietary advice and cannot determine whether a product is safe. Always verify the original package.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to personal-information processing. Most user-controlled information can be viewed or deleted in the app. Because LabelFit has no account and does not attach requests to your name, we generally cannot locate a past provider request by name or email.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app, providers, or law changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
